‘Nightclub’ to vie in Clermont-Ferrand filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Nightclub’ has made its way Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France.

The film directed by Davoud Rangkhaneh, is to represent Iran at the 2021 Lab Competition section of the 43rd edition of the event.

Amir Mohammadi, Masoud Shami-Khatouni, Sepehr Heidari, Tala Barani, Parivash Barati and Zahra Karimi star in the film.

The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is “the world's largest film festival dedicated to short films”, the event’s website reads.

“In term of audience and professional presence, it is the second largest film festival in France after Cannes.”

The upcoming edition of the festival will take place on January 29–February 6, 2021.
